Industrial Nanotech Inc. Announces Expansion into Military Ship and Vehicle Applications

Industrial Nanotech, Inc., an emerging global leader in nanotechnology based energy saving solutions, today announced that the Company has completed testing and analysis of the use of Nansulate for specific applications in military ships and vehicles. Nansulate is the Company's patented product line of award winning specialty coatings containing a nanotechnology based material and which are well-documented to provide the combined performance qualities of thermal insulation, corrosion prevention, resistance to mold growth, fire resistance, chemical resistance and lead encapsulation in an environmentally safe, water-based, coating formulation.

“We began a series of testing procedures for the US Military several years ago and have recently been working with a consultant to define the most suitable applications for the Company’s product line in this market,” states Stuart Burchill, CEO/CTO of Industrial Nanotech, Inc. “Pipelines on nuclear powered submarines and ships and the interior walls of armored tanks and personnel carriers have been identified as areas in which Nansulate coating technology can provide a unique value added benefit. We will be working with both current and former members of the military to implement the use of Nansulate in these areas.”

Nansulate has been utilized for a number of military applications which include: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg, MS for pipe insulation, the U.S. Navy at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and Pearl Harbor Naval Base for lead encapsulation in buildings, at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for insulation and corrosion control of metal dock buildings, and by the Naval Business Center in Philadelphia for pipe insulation and corrosion control.
