Biophan Technologies, Inc., a developer of next-generation medical technology, will present an overview of its novel biomedical advancements and nanotechnology-based solutions at the "Frontiers of Science within Nanotechnology Workshop," to be held August 25-27 at Boston University's Photonics Center in Boston, MA.
The three-day workshop will feature an array of presentations of the latest research and views on the future of "The Science within Nanotechnology." CEO Michael Weiner, an invited speaker, will discuss Biophan's suite of cutting-edge healthcare solutions and proprietary technologies in a moderated discussion beginning at 2 p.m. on August 25.
"Biophan's research and development programs have yielded an extensive number of biomedical solutions at the leading-edge of nanotechnology," Mr. Weiner said. "These solutions include Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) visualization of restenosis in stents, visualizable vena cava filters, enhanced MRI contrast agents, active and controllable drug delivery, long-lasting power systems using bio-thermal energy, and other medical innovations. Individual presentations will also address such topics as the roles of complex and correlated matter in nanotechnology. A plenary discussion will follow, providing a critical overview of the possible frontiers of science within nanotechnology.
